• What is "The International Day of Peace" ?
  

The International Day of Peace is a day which have been created by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981. They decided that this day will be the 21st of September.
This day is an opportunity for everyone to make peace in the world.

• Why is "The International Day of Peace" celebrated ?
  

It is celebrated to mark our progress "with" peace, and also to show everyone that peace is better than wars or violence!

It is celebrated Wherever we are!
Everywhere in the world !!

• Make a Peace Bracelet
  
• Show the Peace One Day video or other peace film
  
• Learn universal mudras for Peace
  
• Have a Peace Day Party
  
• Have a Peace Day Parade
  
• Participate in a Pinwheels for Peace celebration
  
• Fast for Peace
  
• Plant a tree for Peace
• Volunteer for a service project in your community

Or… Whatever inspires you as a " Peacebuilder " !

I think The International Peace Day is very important,For example; the countries which are involved in wars may stop fighting and they could see that peace is better than war.

Earlier, when I was in France I didn't know anything about Peace Day, now that I'm in India I know lots of things about it !

Some creative things that we can do to help share the spirit of peace can be: Do posters about Peace Day, talk about it to our family and friends, talk about it in class, at school ...
