On completing grade 12 IB Diploma Program at Canadian International School, Bangalore, I received admission into University of California, Berkeley. After my moving here I have been both occupied and preoccupied by the overwhelming academic and extracurricular opportunities available. Meeting Nobel Prize Award professors and National Merit scholar students, I am enraptured as the university greatly stimulates my intellectual desires and offers me a plethora of different paths to my success in the future. Out of the countless events that are happening at Berkeley, I will be attending a Career Fair next week, where companies such as Apple, Microsoft, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, and Goldman Sachs will offer internship opportunities and full-time positions to Berkeley students. Although a mere incoming freshman, I will try to do my best to make CIS proud at one of the world's very best (ranked #2 this year!!!) universities in the world.

Although it is certainly overdue, I want to officially thank you for having advised me during my hectic college application process and most importantly, for having made possible me receiving my post-secondary education at a top notch institution.

From where I see it, these have been an amazing three years. The boys were happy to go to school each and every morning, and that is the most important thing.

Please convey to the entire staff of CIS our deep appreciation for making the past three years a memorable experience for the children.

In a school, people come in and out; you still managed to make it their home. When I come to school and the vice principal recognizes me, knows my name, knows my kid's names, and remembers their latest tricks, then I know I am in good hands.
